Repair direct drive, nozzle-flapper, Jet-Pipe valves, and more.
• Annually calibrated test equipment, NIST certified for servo and proportional valves
• Visual inspection uses micrometers, eye loops, calipers, and dial indicators
• Test each valve's hysteresis, threshold, response time, pressure shift, and more
• Record internal leakage, coil resistance, and flow rate before and after repair, list labor and parts used, and provide an XY plot
• With ports (A, B) closed and the spool at null, pressure (usually 1,000 PSI) is applied to measure internal leakage
• Experience with zero, underlap, and overlap; check for null shift. Only re-spool the valve if needed.
• Check Onboard Electronics (OBE) and Electronic Feedback (EFB)
