Type 3 safety laser scanner with or without I/O block.
Optical sensor head with I/O.
Type 4 infrared LED safety light curtain.
Engineering
• Trip test using Fanuc M-6i robot, Allen-Bradley PanelView, and R-J2 controller
• Emitter and receiver paired and aligned, and laser scanner configured
• Test piece resolutions as small as 25mm
• Record the light curtain or laser scanner’s reaction to intrusion, including response time (ms) at max. range
Certification
Safety device repairs have a CSA certification mark and meet the stringent functional safety and electric standards of the United States and Canada.
Maintain Safety
• Check the power supply and supply voltage
• Replace damaged, weakened, and malfunctioning parts (scanner head, window, lens, camera, cord sets, connectors)
• PM infrared sensor control board and calibrate window
• 1000-cycle test with Machine Guarding Test Station
