PLCs power production within plants across the globe
Found within assembly lines or within a robotic work cell, PLCs power the manufacturing process within multiple industries. Devices manufactured by Siemens have become a popular option over the years, with the SIMATIC line of controllers leading the pack. The current generation SIMATIC S7-1200 controller contains the latest technology available, but the previous S7-200 line of controllers can still be found within manufacturing plants wordwide. ICR’s customers still utilize these crucial devices and chose them due to their reliability, quick action and flexibility.
Repairing Siemens S7-200 PLCs
When ICR customers send us their S7-200 PLCs, each unit undergoes a thorough cleaning procedure after being received into our system. Next, our PLC technicians test the inputs and outputs for each module on the unit. With test results in hand, our technicians work to perform repair on aged components and fix any defects detected during testing. After we’ve repaired each unit, we run a final 2-hour burn-in test on each module to ensure it meets our quality standards and will work properly when placed back into production.
